Although some of these advice have supporting evidence to losing weight but how many times have you started on something new claiming to be the ONE SIMPLE TRICK to lose weight.

YOUR BODY is the ONE THING you need to understand. Not that fit guy's body, not that skinny person's body. YOU NEED to find what WORKS for YOU! You will respond to differently to the various diets there are out there on the internet.
Here are the priorities into starting your weight loss journey.
1. CALORIES DEFICIT
What is a calorie deficit?
It is a reduction of calories from your maintenance calorie intake.
This is 100% key driving stimulus to LOSING WEIGHT. No magic pill, no magic exercise. It is just how every human body regulates its weight.
2.PERSONAL PREFERENCE
I put this so high up here because of one simple fact of being human.
I don't enjoy it, I won't do it. No one wants to torture themselves into losing weight.
Don't get me wrong, dieting will be hard nonetheless. But there are more enjoyable ways to dieting that will make sticking to it much more enjoyable. That is why there are varieties of diets written out on the internet! Some though might be bogus that you need to stay clear of.
3. CONSISTENCY
What an OVER HEARD ADVICE!
No matter how over emphasized this advice have been given. It still holds it's place because it is what most people lack!
This should not be much of a trouble is the 2nd priority is in place. If you enjoy doing it, keep doing it.

All advice out there, no matter how bogus some may be, are always given with a good intend. Don't trash anything without UNDERSTANDING.
